On tap at Flyboy's Deli in Oakwood. Served in a chilled shaker pint glass.
Appearance: Translucent orange-yellow beer. Thin white head with plenty of persistent lacing.
Smell: Fresh cut citrus and tropical fruit.
Taste: Hoppy with lots of citrus (lemon, grapefruit) and tropical fruit flavor. Some underlying malt, but hard to pull out from the hops. Citrus bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Good carbonation, smooth, a bit sticky on the teeth and a bit chewy as well.
Overall / Drinkability: The sign claimed this to be a New England style IPA, and while it had lots of tropical fruit and citrus hop notes, and certainly was cloudy, I don't know if I would differentiate it any from other citrus-hoppy AIPAs out there. Good but not anything special.

The pour reveals a hazy golden-colored beer with a heaping helping of floaties and a soapy off-white head that tracks down the side of the glass as you enjoy the beer. The nose is some citrus and loads of pine, plus a nice dollop of caramalt. This is an IPA, but it bears little resemblance to a NE-style IPA, which is what the can calls this.
The taste is all of the aforementioned aromas, with the citrus minimal, the resiny pine significantly more prominent, and the caramalt the star of the show. This isn’t a NE-style IPA, but it is a well-executed American IPA, and my rating reflects that. A delight to drink.

Clean citrus aroma, pours a slightly hazy goldish/amber with a thin white head. Mild malt flavor to begin with, and a touch of sweetness. This then fades to a pop of citrus, which fades to a linger bitter finish. Full bodied, with lower carbonation, overall a solid IPA.
