12.7 oz bottle, bottled in 2018, poured into an Untappd 10 year anniversary snifter at 50 degrees F:
L - copper, with a head that disappeared immediately
S - grapes, orange peel, caramel
T - wonderful flavors of toffee and caramel with a finish of grapes and a bit of orange peel
F - medium mouthfeel, minimal carbonation
O - very nice beer, this is my second bottle and it is still great, wish I had more!

Had on tap. This whole grape forward red wine barrel flavor in barleywines is really growing on me, because it takes the place of the boozy raisin well while elevating the feel and taste a good bit. The toffee/caramel, barley, wood and hint of coffee really compliment each other. Malt is solid base as well. Still a bit jarring with the wine on the finish, but good beer

12.7 ounce wax capped bottle, 2018 vintage. Served in a Warped Wing snifter, the beer pours a hazy orange/copper color with about an inch light tan head that stayed around a little while. There's a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like red grapes/wine, oak, dark fruit and bready malt. I think the taste is pretty much just like the aroma, with red grapes/wine, bready malt, caramel, dark fruit, oak, and earthy flavors. I think the Cabernet barrel aging stands out here as I can really pick up a lot of the wine/grape character in both the aroma and taste. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's coating and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. I really liked this a lot, definitely recommend this one to anyone who likes wine barrel aged beers and/or barleywines in general! Warped Wing did a great job with this one.
