I'm trying this at the Daily Growler in Powell, Ohio. It poured an opaque dark with ecru head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had chocolate and tart fruit notes. The taste was a chocolate covered cherry. The mouthfeel was medium in body with poor carbonation. Overall it's a decent beer.

My man Indy Beer Sleuth hooked me up with loser beer after the OSU vs MI football debacle.
VISUAL: Very dark black/opaque color with no particulates. A lot of thick brown foam that lingers. Significant lacing.
AROMA: Chocolate and coffee.
TASTE: Moderately bitter, lightly sour, gentle sweetness, and mildly bitter linger.
MOUTHFEEL: Light body. Slightly warming. A little carbonation.

Chocolate cherry cordial stout poured from a can into a Taft's Brewery tulip. The pour is very dark and opaque with 2 fingers of dark tan foam. Average retention. Excellent nose. Dark baker's chocolate, some burnt sugar, and light cherry notes.
Medium body with a firm feel and a chocolatey flavor. Semisweet chocolate and molasses up front, then some tart cherry notes at mid-palate. Finishes with dark chocolate and toasted malt. Overall, a very nice chocolate stout. I'm not sure I wouldn't prefer it with just a strong chocolate flavor and no cherries.

12 ounce can, packaged on 10/29/18. Served in a Warped Wing snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like roasted malt, cocoa and cherries. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some earthiness noticeable too. It does remind me of eating a chocolate cherry cordial candy, but with more bitterness than I expected. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit coating and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I thought this was an enjoyable stout, I liked it!

12oz can, served in a Libby globe porter glass. Packaged 13:02:04 10/31/18.
Appearance: Clear very dark brown with just a bit of a cherry red/pink hue when held up to the light. Initial thick tan head that died back to a persistent thin foam across the top. Lots of persistent strands of lacing.
Smell: Cocoa powder, cherry.
Taste: Bittersweet chocolate up front, then a hit of cherry cordial, then a herbal/bitter finish that has a bit of coffee to it.
Mouthfeel: Surprisingly, on the the thin side for a stout. Airy carbonation and a bit powdery.
Overall / Drinkability: A great looking stout, and a good aroma, but then it begins to go downhill after that. There is something about the cherry cordial that doesn't quite translate well into the finish with this beer. It should be good, but it's just a bit off. Maybe if I paired this with something I would have felt differently about it, but one is enough by itself.
