12.7 ounce bottle, vintage September 30, 2018. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this brew! Served in a Warped Wing snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a half inch tan head that stuck around a while. Decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like maple, vanilla, roasted malt, dark fruit, dark chocolate and some whiskey. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some coffee, dark bread and earthy flavors. Barrel character seems to be stronger in the taste than it is compared to the aroma. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and a bit syrupy with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a pretty good overall brew, glad it aged well. Wouldn't mind trying this again in the future, or hopefully Warped Wing will bring this one back at some point.

From the 12.7 oz bottle in a snifter via the brewery smokehouse.
This solid brew pours a dark b;lack with dark tea highlights and a
light head of khaki foam that settles to a thin ring with light lacing.
Nose of mellow bourbon, maple, dark chocolate, vanilla, and hints
of dark coffee and roasted malts. Flavors surpass the nose with
sweet bourbon, oak, vanilla, brandy notes, dark chocolate, dark
roasted malts, raisin, spicy rye on the rear, maple, and light anise
elements. Nice mouth feel; medium full body, smooth, moderately
coating, mellow, rich, moderately warming, low carbonation, did I
mention smooth (!?!), and finishing lightly dry.
Overall, more excellence from this excellent brewery!
Cheers
