12oz can PKGD 07/26/2023 poured into a mug at fridge temp 6% ABV 25 IBU. The beer pours bright light amber with light khaki head. The head recedes to a thin ring and island. A few micro spots of lacing. The aroma is mild with sweet and toasted malt. The taste is semisweet toffee and toasted malt with enough earthy, spicy (rye like) notes to balance and moderate final bitterness. The mouthfeel is thin bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Cleanly lagered. Overall, very good.

Can dated 7/13/22. Amber golden color with whitish foam that faded to a thin film. Aroma leaned toward apples and the taste reminded me of apple juice. No bitterness in the aftertaste and was fairly easy drinking. I just couldn't get past the apple juice flavors. Warped Wing makes some good beers, this isn't one of them. 6 pk cans was $10.99 + tax

12oz can (no date) served in a pilsner glass.
Appearance: Mostly clear amber with a thin white head. Some strands and islands of persistent lacing.
Smell: Clean....but not a lot of aroma here, maybe just a bit of cooked grain.
Taste: Malty, but a bit metallic. Some noble hops, but there is a bit of cascade-type hops in here as well bringing some unexpected citrus/pine flavors as well.
Mouthfeel: Good carbonation, good thickness, a little sticky on the teeth.
Overall / Drinkability: Meh....there's something off with this one and it's not quite right per the style. It's not bad, but it's not great or good either. One is enough.

I tried this beer at The Daily Growler in Powell, Ohio . It poured a clear amber with thin white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had faint caramel malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with malt presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a decent beer.
