A - Pours hazy, a dirty, light orange body, with a short white head that fades out to a thin partial cap. Small bubble lacing coats the glass.
S - A juice core, orange, with a bit of pith and a strong zest note. Pine and mint hop notes also make brief appearances, but the orange is tops.
T - The flavor is more zest than juice, with a stronger pine and mint note than in the nose, and a sharp but not punishing bitterness in the close.
M - Brisk carbonation, moderate weight, and a dry finish that lingers with some resin build.
O - I enjoyed this IPA, and having spent a few years in SW Ohio, supporting Dayton with my choice of beer was an easy thing to do.
