12 ounce can, canned on 11/05/2020. Thanks to my buddy Denis for this one! Served in a Warped Wing snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch frothy tan head that stayed around for a long time. There's also a lot of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like fudge, cream, bready malt, and some earthy hops. Taste pretty much follows the aroma, but with the addition of some bittersweet chocolate and burnt/charred malt. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. There's definite fudge in this brew, but I thought the hops really stood out as well. Maybe I should get another few cans and wait for the hops to fade a bit. But overall I liked it, worth trying if you get the chance to.

12oz can, packaged on 11/04/2020 13:30:44. Served in a Samuel Smith pint glass. I warmed this one up a bit and gently moved the can around to get the sediment mixed in, as I've learned from previous years that when cold, a lot of the chocolate settles out with this beer.
Appearance: A vigorous pour gave a very dark brown with a massive tan head, lots of lacing.
Smell: Milk chocolate, cocoa powder.
Taste: Definite fudge and brownie flavor, with some underlying coffee-like bitterness and a bit of roasted malt bitterness for balance. Definitely on the sweet side, as to be expected.
Mouthfeel: Nicely thick, but very very sticky on the teeth. Light carbonation.
Overall / Drinkability: I try this beer with it's varying recipe every year, and I find it's okay. Good to have, but I don't want another. This year's version is deeper in chocolate flavor, but it's still massively cloying and hard for me to finish. It needs to be paired with something. It might serve as a good pairing with a burger, like you would pair a burger and a milkshake. I think I prefer Esther's Li'l Secret as an actual chocolate, rather than as a beer.

I found aroma citrus forward quickly followed by a deep, chocolate smell. Taste follows aroma, only with a more prevalent hop influence with a bit of dark chocolate. No surprise with a rich, creamy feel, almost too creamy.
