From the 12.7 oz bottle in a snifter via Bluejacket74----Cheers Dude!
This nice brown pours a lightly murky brown with tea highlights and a
modest head of khaki foam that subsides to a thin ring and a light
dusty later. Nose of bourbon, vanilla, oak, spice cake, and brown sugars.
Flavors hit the note with bourbon, oak, vanilla, brown sugars, cinnamon
toast, nutmeg, and some earthy malts. Mouth feel is medium, light
carbonation, smooth, rich, lightly warming, and finishing lightly dry.

Overall----hard to go wrong with this brewery! The little lady and I are usually
leery of cinnamon and nutmeg noted on a label. This one is very nicely balanced.

Excellent!

Cheers

12.7 ounce bottle, 2021 vintage. Served in a Warped Wing snifter, the beer pours dark brown with not quite an inch light tan head that didn't stick around for very long. Small amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like nutmeg, vanilla, cinnamon, bourbon and caramel. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some oak, nutty and earthy flavors. Taste isn't as sweet as I expected it to be, think all the flavors are well balanced with no one flavor overpowering the others. Does get a little sweeter tasting as it warms, but I think it's sweeter smelling than it tastes. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit slick and syrupy with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. Easy enough to drink. I thought this was a good overall brown ale, definitely worth picking up if you get the chance!
