I got a 6pck of cans of this beer from my local meijer store. It poured a clear dark rich amber with tan head that eventually dissipated and left no lace. The scent and taste had rich brownie notes and presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Tasted at the warped Wing Huber Heights Taproom and later at On Par in Dayton.
A very good brown ale in appearance and mouthfeel. The nose is this beer's superpower! It calls up baked chocolate, vanilla and sugar, and smells for all the world like a gooey brownie just out of the oven. When tasted the first time, the flavors almost matched aroma, but came across as less pleasing to me due to a slight chemical aftertaste and excessive sweetness. The second time I had the beer on tap the distracting flavors were not there and I enjoyed the beer even more. This beer is well worth trying as an example of a brewer recreating the character of a beloved food in their beer.
