12 ounce can, canned on 10/24/22, purchased at the brewery release party on 11/3. Drank some there that day, but time for a proper review. Served in an Esther's Li'l Secret chalice, the beer pours a dark reddish/copper color with about an inch or so frothy tan head that stuck around a while. Lots of lacing. I like the aroma, it's mostly sweet and smells like caramel, butterscotch, pecan, coffee and some peaty smoke. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but with the the addition of some roasted malt and dark bready flavors. Not quite as sweet as the aroma would lead you to believe. Think the caramel and pecan stand out compared to the other flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit slick and has a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good all around brew, although I do like the draft version more. Definitely worth picking up if you're into sweeter tasting Scotch Ales!
