Brewed Nov 30, 2020 aged 14 months and bottled in Jan 2022. Reminiscent of dark fruits such as plums and figs. Notes of rising bread in the flavor and aroma. Vinous and tannic from the oak barrels. Light impression of baker’s chocolate.

From the 12.7 oz bottle in a snifter via Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude! This
nice little dubbel pours a muddled auburn with a nice head of off white foam that
\settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some faint lacing. Nose of
vinous wine barrel, fig, date, and brown sugars dashed with dark fresh breaded
notes. Flavors hit the mark with dark bread, brown sugars, mild vinous notes,
figs, dates, and mild oak. Mouth feel is medium, light carbonation, and a lightly
dry finish.
Overall, a nice little dubbel.
Cheers

12.7 ounce bottle. Served in a Warped Wing chalice, the beer pours a somewhat clear reddish/copper color with about an inch or so light tan head that stuck around a little while. Good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like dark fruit, raisins, toffee and some breadiness. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's the addition of some caramel, earthy and red wine/Cabernet flavors. Didn't think the wine/Cabernet character was all that strong. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's easy to drink with a good amount of soft carbonation. Thought this was a good overall brew, worth picking up if you come across some!
