From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This very nice little imperial pours a dark
blackish brown with a nice head of light brown foam that settles to a thick ring, thin
dusty layer, and sports some nice lacing. Nose of deep roasted malts, subtle char,
dark chocolate, and dark coffee. Flavors surpass the nose with dark bakers chocolate,
dark roasted coffee, moderate char, caramel, and dark berry notes of black and blueberry.
Mouth feel is full, smooth, coating, light carbonation with just enough to of fer some
lift, and a roasted bitter malt finish perfect for the style.
Overall, had a bunch of the Whiskey variants, first for the base and I can honestly
say we like it! Great work from a great brewery!
Cheers
