Whiskey Rebellion - Chocolate Churro

12.7 ounce bottle, pretty sure this was a December 2025 release. Served in a Whiskey Rebellion chalice, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like roasted malt, chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, and some bourbon. For the most part the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some oak and burnt/charred malt flavors noticeable too. The cinnamon stands out in both the taste and aroma, but doesn't overpower everything else. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and a bit syrupy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this one a lot, just drank the base 2025 version before this and I think this variant is better. Both are definitely worth trying, Whiskey Rebellion and its variants are always a great choice!
