Made in collaboration with Freedom Whiskey - In the late 1700’s a government imposed whiskey tax crippled the emerging bourbon trade. A thirsty few rose up and spawned a revolution. Finally, government control ended. And a truce was penned. At last, liberating the free flow of bourbon once again. Whiskey Rebellion. An Imperial Stout steeped in reclaimed Freedom Whiskey barrels. Marked with accents of chocolate, vanilla, and freedom.

From the 12.7 fl oz bottle in a snifter. This solid little imperial pours a
dark blackish brown with a moderate head of khaki foam that settles to
a thin ring and decent legs with a swirl. Nos of bourbon, oak, vanilla,
moderate char, toffee, chocolate, and subtle brulee dashed with dark fruits.
Flavors find their mark with dark chocolate, mellow char, oak, bourbon,
vanilla, toffee, coffee, brulee, and dark berry nuances of blackberry and blueberry.
Mouth feel is medium full leaning towards full, smooth, rich, moderately coating,
moderately warming, and finishing warm, moderately dry, and with a bitter malt
note.
Overall, a solid addition to the whiskey rebellion family.
Cheers
