Poured from a can with a robust head of foam (1.5 inches or so). Pretty clear light golden straw in color. Lime scent is the primary smell. Surprisingly, the lime taste is subdued - rounding out an exceedingly pleasant flavor. Feel has some carbonation on the tongue and a bit of lime lingers in the aftertaste. All around a good summer drink.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce can into lager glass, no can dating. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy pale golden straw color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lightly tart limes, citrus peel/rind, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance of limes, pale malt, and earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big lightly tart limes, citrus peel/rind, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, woody, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness; and light lime tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart limes, citrus peel/rind, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Awesome robustness and balance of limes, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; with a fantastic malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero fruity/yeasty notes present. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly acidic/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is an outstanding fruited German pilsner. All around awesome robustness and balance of limes, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish; not aggressive. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Perfectly balanced between vibrant limes, clean pils malts, and German noble hops. Zero residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing base style example. I don't think they could have done it any better. Extremely drinkable for the style.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, straw-yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of lime, caramel and floral notes. Sweet caramel with a nice lime bite.
