Drank two at Miss Celie's into a glass from a can. Moderate feel, licorice-ladden mocha. A bit thin, creamy, very sessionable. More heft around but happy to have again.

On nitro at the brewery:

Creamy yet thin. Ticks the boxes for a milk stout...shallow chocolate malt, shallow dark malt sweetness, lactose/milk sugar sweetness.

Possibly the most basic milk stout I've ever tried... obviously true to style, but so shallow and textbook and uninspired it's hardly worth recommending. The malt flavours lack oomph, and I'd contend after trying six of their beers that the brewery's entire lineup does too.

Another flaccid effort from one of the most forgettable breweries in Australia.

Sweet with just the right supporting bitterness. Awesome mocha coloured head. Firm and creamy, as you'd expect from a milk stout. Moderate stout bitterness gives way to a mild chocolate malt base. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy. Very more-ish and sessionable.
