At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. Canned October 29/24. My 12th beer from the Cobden, Ontario brewery, and 5th for 2026. Adamantly appreciated by Sundae the cat...

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Apr 14 2023 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a clear golden-blonde colour, producing more than an inch of puffy, soapy white head that collapses within about two minutes. A frothy collar and filmy cap live on, with limited lace deposition - looks good so far. Mostly neutral aroma with hints of grainy, bready pale malts and canned corn sweetness; maybe a whiff of grassy, floral hops.
Yep, it's a regular ol' light lager, but it's actually a rather well-made one. Clean, straightforward flavours with a little bit of corniness - I'm getting white bread, cereal grains and tortilla chips for the most part, with suggestions of grassiness on the tail end. Lightly corny aftertaste that fades to off-dry within a few seconds. Light in body, with assertive carbonation that adds just the right bite to this light lager's mouthfeel, which is crisp, smooth and satisfying. I could drink this from first light to last, if I were still young enough to do that sort of thing.
Final Grade: 3.77, a worthy B+. I've been reviewing light lagers for over a week now, and Whitewater's Last Light stands out as one of the best experiences in that run. Significantly better than the macro gold (or silver) standards, and a lager that I believe even relatively picky beer geeks can appreciate, given the correct setting. E.g. I think this would make an excellent camping beer - buy a flat of this before heading up north and you're set for the weekend.
