This was yet another beer that I traded for a while ago and took ages to get to. Not a typical lager, this had a bit more body, dankness, and alcohol than other lagers although nothing in particular about this was particularly strong or noteworthy when all was said and done...
Interesting pour to this as the liquid was a muddled off-gold with plenty of head to top it off. This was one of the few beers I've had where the latter was as uneven as any that I've ever seen. Tan, rocky, and clumpy, it even lingered on the liquid in sections as it never fully leveled off or completely went away. That was probably due to this beer's age but most of the other brews I've had recently didn't do that to me, so I think it had to be this beer's nature was. Lager yeast, grass, and basic malt filled the mediocre nose as the taste was also quite basic, Grass, light grain, and lemon pledge came through on the palate with a slightly sour undertone and basic malt presence. A bit more carbonation would have been nice, but there were enough bubbles here to ensure that this wouldn't feel too heavy...
Not a lot of booze here and it would have been easy to have another of these, if I could get a fresh can. Dated 11/3/17 with BEHEEF DICH!! written on top of that, this was an odd beer that I never fully warmed up to, even as it fully warmed up. The proof of that was in the last, lingering section of rocky head that at at the bottom of my pint glass once I finished this off...

I only had a single pint can, given to me by the bartender, after I told him I didn't like lager beer. Never one to pass up a new beer (esp free), I gladly took this with me. Hoppy, dank and prickly. Medium carbonation, with a healthy bitter bite.
Based on this single beer, I can't state I now like all lagers, but it was very tasty.
