Bought two from Tavour. (I gave the other away before I drank the first... and regret making the gift.)
Safety Meeting is a Traditional Northwest pale ale in the age of NEIPA invention.
Refreshing on the buds and the brain to know that tradition still means something.
Safety Meeting's Looks are average... more blonde than pale and not an active foam. Smells have lots of subtlety with the piney pushing its way to the top. Tastes are balanced, not bitter, also interestingly diverse. Enough bubbles to refresh, but not so many that they try to hide any mistakes. Safety Meeting has nothing to hide... as a good one should behave.
With a triple crisis concentrated in Portland (covid, smoke and Trump making everything worse), it is hard to write a brewer review that is critical. So I won't. But for a six year old brewer that keeps two locations open in probably the most competitive metro market, StormBreaker is doing more than good. And I wish them well.

This single hop Pale Ale is described at "Strata dry hopped." Attractive pale golden brew with plenty of foam in the tall Jack Daniels glass. Aromatic with lime peel and melon. Tastes of cucumber, brambles, tea with a fruity note. Moderately bitter aftertaste.
Resiny and refreshing, overall. This is a good-time old-school brew with a satisfying dose of hops. From the 16 oz can shipped by StormBreaker (out of state-- give 'em a cheer for making more beer available).
