Clear amber brew in the Blanche de Chambly glass. Not much foam but some pleasant prickles on the tongue. Sturdy, malty body. Inviting aroma of straw and green tea with berries in the nose. Tastes of cereal and resiny hops with green beans and an astringent finish.
Hops are listed as Kazbek, Styrian Golding, and US Golding. This is a clean and not overly yeasty brew with a distinct Belgian character. Needs a lusher mouthfeel for the Saison style, I think. From the 16 oz can shipped from the brewery. Dated stamp on the bottom, early 2021.
