A handsome brew, very dark brown with plenty of dark beige foam in the snifter. Light body with great drinkability. Just a little malty sweetness with abundant carbonation makes for a pleasing mouthful. Aromatic with roasted grain and a smoky note. Tastes of dark malt, a bit of fruit, and a dose of caramel. Overall this is a fine beer in the Scottish style. From the 16 oz can shipped from StormBreaker. Dated 03/20/2023.
