Raging Blonde is a malt-oriented golden blonde ale that pushes the upper boundaries of the style with generous late kettle additions of Cascade and Centennial hops. The result is a “knockout” beer featuring a riveting hop flavor without the associated bitterness. Quench your thirst by making this your go-to blonde.

I'll tell you right now it's not a classic blonde ale, but it's a damn great ale with a clean smooth taste. It's a bit malty and there is a very light elegant hop bite. I'm a bit of a blonde fan, so this was a great discovery.

It pours rich gold / medium amber. The aroma and the taste are unmistakably ale-ly.

Loved it.

Look: Golden Blonde with a half of a finger of head that disapates quickly leaving a decent/average lacing.
Smell: The smell is a mix of malty and bread sweetness, with mild to low hop aroma.
Taste: The taste is sweet and malty, with low bitterness. The back of the taste ends like a good IPA with character of fruity hops without the bitterness. It begins malty, ending the same way but with a new floral character.
Feel: The mouthfeel is great. It leaves only a slight aftertaste, instead it is dry but at the same time light. It feel like a good blonde ale should without being too bland.
Overall: It is a very good beer. I would suggest it to anyone who wants to experiment with Blonde Ales. While not strictly traditional, it gives a great idea of characteristics of a blonde ale. This brew is only made better by its affiliation with veterans. Thank you for serving our country. Semper Fi!

From the 12 fl. oz can received in trade from a non-BA member. Sampled on April 25, 2016.

The pour is light amber with a lingering white foamy head and a bit of a haze.

Nice aroma of toasted bread, crackers, yeast, and grassy hops. The yeast almost makes me think Belgian style.

Light to medium smooth body.

Good toasted malt character in the taste but maybe even a hint of apple. Mild bitter finale. Pretty good overall.

Silky. Like the way the malt mellows out the hops. Pours to a light amber color out the the can. Rosie the Riveter character on the can, in keeping with the Veterans United name. Relatively big head of foam that rapidly settles out. It has a nice feel to it. I could drink it again and again. At 5.2, the alcohol boosts the flavor. Very nice. A real find. $9 a sixer at Winn Dixie.

Poured from can. Golden in color with the slightest of haze. Head was very thick about two fingers in height. Aroma was malty bread with hops on top. Flavor on this beer had more hop than the scent, the malt sweetness followed but is quickly overcome by a hop bitterness at the end. Mouthfeel was very pleasant lots of carbonation but of the soft variety giving the beer a very rich feel. On the whole it was good, very good scent that unfortunately is not the same as the taste where there is too much hops for me, but good looking and good overall.

On tap at the brewery taproom in JAX, Florida.

Nice goden amber body with very good clarity and a decent head,

Typical aroma for style. Nice clean an balanced flavor but, of course, quite mild.

Light body with medium carbonation.
