Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a pretty, burnt orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is surprisingly malty. Taste is of alcohol, malts, hops are present, moderate bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall it ain't bad, but this is one boozy beer.

Canned on 4/7/21. 16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a glowing amber with some haze to it; creamy light khaki head that falls leaving nice retention and sticky lacing. The aromas are malt forward along with some caramel and citrus, especially orange. The flavors basically follow the nose. More sweet orange leading the way for the most part. More caramel along with some subtle hints of toffee. Mild hints of vanilla in the mix. Slightly spicy. The flavors are bittersweet. Solid bitterness, but it's not overly bitter as you might think considering the ABV. There's a solid sweetness going on, but it's not cloyingly sweet or over the top. Nice balance. Subtle warmth in the finish, but it's not hot or boozy. The alcohol is ultimately well hidden considering the ABV. Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy, creamy and smooth.
This is a really solid Imperial IPA. It's not super flashy, but it's extremely bold while remaining balanced. The balance for such a big beer is pretty impressive. The craftsmanship is on point. It's enjoyable and fun to drink. Well done. I really like it.

Hazy auburn with a one finger head that was short lived. Plenty of lacing. Aroma is dominated by an apple cider note then the toffee, caramel of the malt. Taste is a blend of sweet plus alcohol plus toffee malt. Actually a rather extraordinary blend of flavors. Mouthfeel is thick and chewy, very soft carbonation but a very nice alcohol burn. The bartender assures me that there is no apple cider in the beer and I believe him, but is amazing how hops and yeasts work together to create something that doesn’t exist I either. Hops are Centennial, Columbus, Cascade.

From the 22 oz bomber in a snifter. This BEAST pours a beautiful
red tinged amber color that is lightly chill hazed that sports a fantastic
creamy head of fine beaded sticky foam that subsides to a 1/4" thick layer
with some fantastic sudsy sticky lacing. Nose of sweet malts, moderate
amounts of booze, and sticky citrus and pine touched hops. Flavors
exceed the nose with aplomb. Sweet caramel and light butterscotch
that is a firm malt backbone to a piney and citrus hop note that
features pineapple and a touch of peaches that fades to a sticky
pine note on the rear with a lot of warming booze. Excellent
mouth feel; slick and creamy, sticky, medium light carbonation,
and a piney creamy boozy finish.
Overall this is a fantastic brew that I am glad to have tried here
in Cincy from The Growler Stop. Balanced and delicious!
Of note---this batch is rated at 14 percent and NOT 10.5.
One BIG MOMMA OF A BREW!
Cheers!

At the brewery again whilst my son has hockey practice. Trying the Too Cans....wow....it's a doozy. BA has 10.5% listed....brewery 13.5% abv....yikes. it poured a clear amber with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent is weird...I smell chalkboard and alcohol. The taste is not evenly balanced and very potent. There are caramel malts and a cherry syrup hint. The Mouthfeel is fuller in body with smooth carbonation. Overall it's ok not my favorite.

Pours an auburn color. A wallop of spicy hop aroma comes out of the glass, and I believe I nearly notice alcohol in the smell as well.
A big, oil slick mouthfeel, with huge piney, bittersweet, and fruity hop flavors. Almost tastes more like a triple or a quad. Alcohol is definitely also noticed in the flavor and on the way down.
Not for the timid!

On tap.
This beer is a beast. Burned a bit on the way down. The alcohol is very present in this. Glad I got a short pour of this...finishing a 10 or 12 oz would have been a chore. Not a bad Imp IPA, but a boozy one.
