This is the second experimental beer in The One Night Stand series. We have a special interest in this golden stout because we locally sourced some of the main ingredients for this beer. Our Nugget and Crystal hops came from our friend at Stone City hop farm in Canal Winchester Ohio and the Guatemalan Hue Hue Tanango coffee came from our friends at Crimson Cup coffee in Columbus.
As for the beer itself: If you were to close your eyes and use your sense of smell and taste, you would think of this as a very beautiful breakfast stout. Using the hops, oats, coffee, and cocoa nibs to give the beer it's main characteristics, but when you open those eyes to see the beauty of this clear golden beer, you will ask yourself, is that what I just drank

This is really a golden stout....I'm trying it at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent has a slight Belgian like sweetness...almost a jelly donut maybe. The taste is sweet with hints of white frosting. The mouthfeel is fuller in body with smooth carbonation. Overall it's a solid beer.
