Black-bodied in a nonic pint, with just a slim head that slipped into a collar quickly... Aromas of chocolate, coffee, molasses, and coconut were followed by much of the same on the sip... Coconut added an herbal, chewy kinda sweetness to the mix - strong presence in the beer, for my tastes, somewhat to its detriment... Fairly ordinary save for the coconut, more sweet than dry; medium-full-bodied and a little sticky... Finishes sweet... 04/2019 bottling (batch #279)...
