From the 12 oz bottle in a snifter via Savor Growl. This awesome tripel
pours a lightly hazed amber tinged golden color with a fantastic fluffy head of
white foam that settles to a thick ring and thin layer with exceptional
sudsy soapy lacing. Nose of light banana, subtle clove, subtle coriander,
and Belgian candy sweet malts. Flavors rock it with light orange
zest and banana esters amongst subtle lemon zest and sweet candy
malts along with soft wheat and subtle coriander and faint clove.
EXCEPTIONAL balance. Very nice mouth feel; medium body, smooth
as silk, lightly effervescent carbonation that gives light lift, and a
subtle herbal, candy sugar, and citrus finish that is lightly dry.
One of the best American tripel style brews I have had to
date.
Overall, FANTASTIC!
Cheers
By the way----make this one a rotating brew, it scores
high on all fronts and could easily be entered into a
contest.
