The first collaboration between Forbidden Root and Zaftig Brewing Co. is an American wheat crafted with lemon peel and real blueberry and lemon puree resulting in a tart wheat ale that is not overly sweet while still maintaining the delicious fruity flavors from start to finish.

This is decent, I don't feel mindblown or anything but this is a very drinkable beer for sure. Very balanced. After having it on tap I like it a little more, idk if I NEED this again but I found it well executed

16 ounce can, canned on 05/04/22. Served in a Spiegelau wheat beer glass, the beer pours a hazy orange/amber color with about an inch off-white head that stuck around a while. Good amount of lacing. The brew smells like wheat/grainy malt, lemon peel and blueberries. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma but with the addition of some lemon. Slightly tart. I think the wheat and lemon peel stand out in both the aroma and taste although all the flavors are noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a bit coating and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a nice refreshing brew, definitely worth trying if you're into wheated fruit ales!
