My bestie from Charlotte, NC gave me a can of this beer. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had sweet corn malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with corn and Belgian sugar presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer.

Look: Slightly hazy dark gold. One finger of foamy white head with decent retention.
Smell: Slightly musty and funky hops, orange peel, sweet malt.
Taste: Sweet and slightly biscuity malt, with a low piney hop flavor.
Mouthfeel: Smooth and chill, with very high carbonation.
Overall: A good but not unusual maibock.
