Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear brown color with a medium sized off-white colored head. The aroma is malt and yeast. The taste is full of malt. The secondary flavor drops off quickly.

dark brown with a light head. smells of malts and hops. Taste is balanced and smooth, slight coffee taste. Very good brown ale. Feel is medium carbonation but very creamy. I really enjoyed this beer.

On tap at the brewery taproom.
Dark brown body is topped by a durable head that leaves very good lacing.
The aroma has plenty of toffee, a good bit of dark roasted malts, and a bit less bready malts, with essentially no sign of hops. Nonetheless, the flavor is only slightly sweet and some hops appear in the aftertaste. Nice balance and easy drinking although relatively rich (malt load) for style.
Medium body with medium carbonation.
