This Summertime favorite is making a comeback thanks you thirsty hopheads! Our Summer Double IPA clocks in at deceptive 9% ABV. Get ready for the huge tropical and citrus notes—pineapple, grapefruit, lemongrass to name a few. This thing has a big, burly hop nose to it that reveals intense grass, musk, and citrus.

12 oz can, apparently undated but purchased just dais ago near the brewery. ABV of 10% on the label.
This pours with a clear amber colored body with an excellent, durable white head and lacing.
Aroma. An appealing and, as expected, fruity mix with all hidden ABV.
The ABV, is more obvious than I would like in both the flavor and the mouthfeel.

Poured from can into tulip; less than 40 degrees
Look - small head, with hazy gold color
Smell - light floral to tropical fruit; probably will open up more if it was at recommended temp on can
Taste - surprisingly crisp slight tropical and bitter that kind of fight back and forth, then settling into a low key piney taste that ends clean. I was expecting way more intense floral/piney and sweet pineapple/grapefruit. It is way more subtle than the marketing on can suggest, and more for others I have had for the style.
Feel - Light on the tongue with little carbonation; way lighter than I anticipated.
For me, it was a decent summertime beer that hides it's abv very well. I was expecting a little fuller taste, but not bad for a SC beer.

A surprisingly light, easy to drink IPA—great for drinking by itself or with a perfectly grilled burger. Loved it and definitely will be buying again.
