Brewed with copious amounts of all natural, hand-toasted coconut that gives a pleasing nose and delicious flavor. Specialty malts provide rich chocolate notes that create a perfect balance to the subtle sweetness of the coconut.

Poured from 12 oz can into tulip glass. 2" tan head slowly falls with tons of lacing. Color is red-brown. Aroma of coconut, chocolate, coffee. Mouthfeel is medium with a dry finish. Flavor: coconut, cocoa, chocolate, lingering hop bitterness. Overall: very good.

Appearance - Pours slick black color with decent tan head that quickly dissipates to just a thin ring around the glass with decent lacing.
Aroma - Roasted malts and dark chocolate stand out, there is a hint of toasted coconut as well but not much else.
Taste - Dark bitter chocolate, roasted malts, the coconut stands out more in the flavor than the aroma which was nice. It reminds me of a slightly less sweet Death by Coconut.
Feel - Medium body, good carbonation, slightly dry.
Overall - i picked this up as a single in a mixed six pack and was very surprised, it is a very solid beer. Good flavor would liked to have seen a little more coconut in the aroma.

Dark but not opaque with a tan head that leaves decent lacing. The aroma is sweet roasted malt and fresh coconut. The taste is big roasted malt with a decent chat bitterness with a decent amount of coconut at the end. This is a pretty tasty beer.

A: Pours a clear though opaque very dark cola brown in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation along the edges of the glass and moderate amber + garnet red highlights. The beer has a half finger tall foamy dark tan head that slowly reduces to a large patch of mottled thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of roasted malts with light aromas of dark chocolate and toasted coconut.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of roasted malts with minimal amounts of sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of toasted coconut and light to moderate flavors of dark chocolate. Light hints of earthy hops. There is s light to moderate amounts of slightly lingering roasty bitterness.
M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly thin for the style.
O: The toasted coconut flavors and aromas are a little too subtle for the description of the beer - I was expecting those flavors and aromas to be a little more present and upfront. Easy enough to drink, though a touch thin in body.
