Dark in color with off white fizzy head. Aroma is Smokey with some toasted grains and malt. Taste is smoked and there is a nice oak char present. Also getiing some vanilla presence. Unfortunately there is also on the nose and taste a very light cough drop smell and aftertaste. Smoke is dominant, mouthfeel is smokey and a touch bitter.

Went into it expecting smoke, and smoke is what I got. Good version of the style.

Had it cask aged... A lot going on. Definite smoke flavor comes through in the front side with smooth maltiness throughout. @ Jack Browns Roanoke enjoying this
