Pours a straw yellow against my review screen, a bit more of a golden orange against my white walls. Nearly crystal clear except for chill haze, with fine carbonation. A 2 finger white head leaves light lacing as it quickly recedes.
Lemony in aroma with a hint of nuttiness and caramel.
Taste is more subtle and mellow. Lemony tart with bitter lemon peel that lasts until the end. Sweet caramel in the aftertaste.
Crisp, but not as much as I expected. Good retention, but smooth rather than sticky. Slick.
Not as "in your face" as a lot of IPA's, but very well done. Excellent balance, nothing is overdone. An easy drinker. A very pleasant beer.
