Served in 12oz fluted Pilsner glass. Poured the most solid black of blacks with just a thin cap of dark khaki head that had low retention and lacing.
The aroma was mostly deep, rich malts, with just a light touch of roast.
The flavor was the same, very good use of malts, with a bunch of grain flavor, and the roast was a bit more prominent.
The body was very nicely full and rich, with a semi-dry finish. As an aside, this beer had some best legs I've seen in a long time. It almost looked like the beer was staining the glass. Overall, a very nice brew, highly suggested that you try it if you see it.
