16oz can purchased at Community Pint, in Spokane, WA, for $3.99. Canned on January 6, 2019, per the stamp on the bottom. This is a Big Lebowski-themed collaboration between Ten Pin and Brothers Cascadia, a brewery in Vancouver, WA. The can label makes clear this was canned (though "bottled" is the term used) in Moses Lake, at Ten Pin. It is billed as a "coffee chocolate stout."
Poured into a shaker pint glass, this was brown to the point of darkness, with an inch of khaki colored foam on top. Said head did not linger, but never entirely fell away. Spotty lace.
Initially, only the faint aroma of roasted malts greeted the nose. As it warmed, a light coffee aroma and some chocolatey sweetness become discernible, but it's not a beer blessed with a strong aroma.
Once it warms up, the taste is pretty similar to the smell. It's a decent stout with some coffee and chocolate notes along for the ride, though the latter seems the stronger of the two.
Medium bodied, with a creamy mouthfeel.
Decent, but hardly a standout. Like the Dude, it abides, but doesn't do a whole lot else.
