A little thin. Nothing wrong with the flavor, I prefer mine with a little more body

Picked this up at the Whole Foods in Burbank recently, when I was out on the left coast for vacation. This looked interesting and although it wasn't bad, this was a bit of a letdown as I couldn't quite understand why it was rated so highly on here. This was relaxing and not terribly strong but at the same time, it was one-dimensional and not terribly bold at all.
This had a copper hue to it with plenty of head topping it off as it unevenly settled. Practically no lacing was left behind, which was a clue as to how thin this was. A bit of citrus and grass was in the nose but dang, I practically had to snort this to pick those up as this had the weakest aroma in a beer that I've reviewed in quite some time. Some light dankness, white peach, and urine (yeah, I said it) was in the taste as the low carbonation and moderate body as this was meh on the palate and turbid in the aftertaste.
Sure, this warmed me up a bit but this was too unmemorable a beer as the alcohol was the strongest attribute that I felt when drinking this. No sediment was in the liquid as this held up well for being canned on 4/25. A heavy, morose floral undertone was the last thing I took away from this once the liquid fully went down, as I was hoping for so much more out of this. At least the label matched this beer's minimalism...

This has the tartness of a wheat beer but without any of the flavor complexity you expect from something billed as a wheat IPA. It's tough to even pick out a single flavor. The quintessence of meh.

so this one has been around since at LEAST 2014 and only has two reviews....? that's interesting. it smells like a piss-poor IPA straight out of the olden days whe you'd get that malty-sweet nasty wanna-be IPA sh!t.... honestly though, i have taken a sip yet. here goes... albeit in a prejudiced state of mind.... taste is not bad! clean and crisp. the can is beautiful and IS the reason i selected this out of the store's frig door.... it looks pretty, ya know? Untappd has a 3.82 and a solid thousand inputs.... i guess i AM prejudiced... it's not bad. the aroma put me off right from the beginning. the days of the malty-sweet IPAs do seem to be diminishing... this isnt bad, but it certainly isnt great... got more in the store's frig so i will give another one of their stuff a try just because i'm interested now....

Poured a hazy dark straw yellow with a nice fluffy white head. Definitely looks like a Hefeweizen or witbier. Aromas and flavors are crisp and dry citrus, grapefruit pith, some fresh cut grass, wheat bread, and even a hint of pepper. Overall, a very delicious IPA that blends east-coast soft mouthfeel and juiciness with west coast flavors and bitterness.
