The beer pours a beautiful golden yellow with a white head that settles to a ring around the edges of the glass with spotty lacing. Aromas and flavors are complex juicy hop characters, with melon, berries, citrus, and a hint of pine present. The Scottish malt and lack of crystal malts make the sweetness on the lighter side; there's a slight white pepper character and even an earthiness I would like to roasted cauliflower. There's definitely some alcohol heat on the finish which lingers dry. It's a very good double IPA and a very unique one.
