It's funny how pretty much my favorite chile/pepper/chile-infused beers all seem to come from Institution. It's not a favorite style of mine per se, and I tried this particular beer on a whim and was very pleasantly surprised. It pours a hazy yellow, looking just like White Walls. But then the aroma hits you: sure, there's some of the floral and citrusy hops as well as the soft tortilla-like wheat backbone, but front and center are fresh vegetal peppers, with a spicy kick. The taste follows suit. It's not that hot, but it is definitely peppery. I could see this highlighting and complimenting Thai food, Mexican food, Indian food...anything spice heavy. Or if you just need to kick up your tastebuds for a bit and shake them down into flavor submission.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
