Pours a dark brownish-black with a khaki head that leaves lots of lacing on the tulip bulb glass. Aromas and flavors are bitter dark chocolate and roasted malts, balanced by a warming presence of holiday spices: I notice nutmeg and cinnamon specifically, and likely all-spice or five-spice and cloves and maybe some other things. Chewy mouthfeel. Good spiced ale.
