Served in a shaker pint glass on tap at 3 Squares in Maple Grove, MN. Billed as a Caramel Apple Pie Cider Beer.
Little head, basic straw color.
Smell of apples and some spice.
This really tasted like a caramel apple pie...really! Tastes like a cider/beer hybrid with the malts serving as the pie crust and cider as the apple filling. Definite caramel flavor with a hint of salt. Wow!
Unremarkable mouthfeel...maybe a bit of stickiness.
They really nailed this one. It tastes just as you'd expect (and hope). No cheap or artificial flavors; no flavors overdone...well balanced and highly drinkable.
