It's a magnificent Brown Ale with a roasted malt aroma and flavor, along with notes of coffee, caramel, dark chocolate, and nuts. It's made with water from the Montseny River. An extraordinary beer to enjoy leisurely with every sip. A great beer!

A good effort, but doesn't win the ring in the pig's nose.
Cerdos opens with some foam, but its Looks fade fast making it average for the style. Smells are slightly below that as they are malty, but not distinct. Barcelona used hops properly to balance the sweet malt, but I don't get the semi-dry finish of a good Brown. Light mouthed.
I wasn't sure about the pig theme until I went on their website. But because they had an English button, I got the pig theme. It is whimsical, like the line "if pigs could fly." But the pig also has some character like the pink elephant for the Delirium brand. Barcelona Beer Company has been around for at least a decade. Not only are they having fun, but they probably are doing a good job of expanding the craft market in this wine culture. They draw their brewing water from natural springs and they claim to do all the other good eco-things. For that and for some good marketing, I give them very good Overall Hugs (although, I've never been known to kiss a pig.)

Copenhagen 31/3 2025. 33 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Black can with two very ping Pigs with wings. The Cerdos Voladores.
Pours unclear murky amber with a small white head. Stable. Settles as a paper thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty and toasted odor mingling with tart notes. Toasted malts, sweet biscuit, caramel and orange jam. Whiff of citrus.
Low carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong tart bitterness. Aftertaste is tart with a sweet undertone. Lingers forbid, Finish is pleasant sweet biscuits.
Sweetish and a bit on the flat side.
