Appearance: Poured with two fingers of head that laced like crazy and retained exceptionally well. The body boast a lot of carbonation in a far too clear pale yellow coloured body.
Smell: I am catching a little bit of wheat malt and oranges but that's really it. Warming doesn't really help it's case but it's hitting the notes, albeit could do so a bit more loudly.
Taste: Orange does appear to permeate the beer, and it's important to note that orange, not a more blended citrus is present. It starts with some mild wheat malt backing light orange and which point the two build trying to coexist together until they reach a conflicted undesirable end with a odd snap of thatch hitting the end.
Mouthfeel: The beer is very well carbonated, and it does help out the entire beer, but the end note leaves something to be desired. The aftertaste seems to accent that end note, like viewing the aftermath of a battle.
Drinkability: It is easy on the system, but seems to sit around medium bodied, which isn't what I like to see in a wit that advertises it a summer drinker. If it were another style I'd say it's refreshing, but this one just isn't doing it for me.
Final Thoughts: Summer is the time for a Wit, but this one is more like a late summer early spring offering that is meant to wean you onto the real guzzlers. It is a bit better then a run of the mill, but not much. It is a hesitant one thumb up.

Can from the LCBO for around $3. Not a bad refreshing summer beer.
