Sampled at the Clockwork Beer Co.

The tap label calls it a Glasgow Kölsch, hence the name.

Pours a straw gold with some white bubbles on the surface. Nice lacing down the glass. Light nose with some biscuity malt and some very faint citrusy notes. Nice malts in the beginning followed by an aggressive hop bite which leads to a lingering dry finish with some faint citrus hints. Nice carbonation, not too aggressive. Light on the mouthfeel but that comes with the style I suppose. A nice and drinkable beer. Very unusual to a find Scottish kölsch, but it was a nice un-Scottish way to cap off a day of decidedly un-Scottish weather (not a cloud to be seen). Quite pleasant.
