22 oz. bottle, no bottled on date. Picked up the bomber from the local Binny's. "A saison ale w/ lemongrass & citrus fruit". The third beer in the homebrewer series from Middle Brow Beer Co.

Poured into a Duvel tulip snifter.

A - Pours a light murky hazed lemon yellow body. One finger of frothy white head that stays a while, leaving good fluffy scattered lacing throughout. Appears adequately carbonated. Looks good.

S - Aroma is fresh, fruity, floral, clean, & light. Notes of wheat, grass, lemongrass, citrus zest.

T - Taste follows the nose: crisp, earthy, herbal, grassy, citrusy. Notes of lemon, lemongrass, orange, passionfruit, dry bready yeast, some cloves presence. Very complex and interesting stuff. The hop profile is fruity and herbal, on top of the yeast, and then again on top of the citrus & lemongrass. Everything melds together very nicely.

M - Feel is smooth & crisp, clean, with moderate tart / dryness on the finish. Light-bodied stuff, and very easy-drinking.

Overall, an excellent saison from Middle Brow. Exceptionally flavorful, drinkable, and well-balanced stuff. Very glad i picked this one up. I look forward to trying many more from these guys.

Poured into snifter. Very yellow gold. Cloudy. Not a ton of carbonation, maybe just enough. Lives up to its name – super zesty citrus in nose and taste. comes across exactly as a saison should-right amount of funk and tartness, and the high citrus content plays well with that. Think I've enjoyed this one more than some of the saisons my favorite breweries make.
