Bottled fall 2015; drank 10/19/15 @ the Yarchives.
Semi-opaque light orange appearance.
Nice bright white head; a curtain of frothy lace.
Pear, banana & orange citrus notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Cardamom, pear & banana flavors up front; clove & dry black pepper bite on the finish.
A unique mix of fruit & spice; odd but enjoyable.
I'd have another.

12 oz. bottle, no bottled on date. My second of the White Light/White Heat mixed 4pack beers from Middle Brown, this one "a Belgian-style ale brewed with peppers". A little bit higher in abv than it's apricot counterpart.
Poured into a Duvel tulip snifter.
A - Pours golden orange, just a bit darker than it's apricot counterpart. Under a finger of frothy white head that falls to a ring that lingers. Random scattered fluffy lacing. Appears aptly carbonated. Looks good.
S - As with White Light, the aroma comes off very faint. Some indistinct fruitiness & Belgian yeast / clove like spiciness. Very minor notes of alcohol, and an earthy vegetal aroma that smells more like red bell pepper than any type of chile pepper. No heat, no spice rack.
T - Taste follows the nose: tropical yeast-derived fruitiness & a subtle vegetal pepper flavor. No overt notes of spice rack, clove, yeast. Even the peppers are pretty faint.
M - Feel is smooth, crisp, clean. Light & easy drinking.
Overall, again more of a farmhouse / saison than it is a witbier. Peppers and spices aren't exactly prominent. In all, i love the concept behind this, but the brews could have definitely been done better.

Huge off white head. Overflowing. Hazy golden orange.
Typical wit with some mild pepper flavors. Bananas and cloves. Other spices. Belgian yeast.
A very mediocre beer.
