12oz can served in a tulip. 12-08-18.
Pours a moderately hazy medium yellow with a big (almost out of control) head. Smell is belgian funk. Herbaceous, some pine and lemon.
Taste continues on the funk -- mostly consistent with the aroma, really. Not much more to add.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly gritty. Overall, not bad.

Poured from a month-old, properly refrigerated can into a standard tulip glass
Look: Pours hazy murky yellow, 2 fingers of head on an aggressive pour; medium head retention; weak lacing.
Smell: Really weak; not getting much outside some yeast smell, and (perhaps) some hop overtones; kinda can't belive it's DDH.
Taste: Really weird for an IPA; not getting much of the typical hop flavors, though bitterness is there; really, the taste is dominated by the yeast; speaking of the yeast, what did they put in here?, reminds me of some German macros, and definitely doesn't fit the style; alcohol is also somewhat apparent despite the low abv — could definitely be hidden better.
Feel: Light bodied, easy to drink if it wasn't for the weird taste.
Overall: Idk... might just be my incompetence in the style, or an intended flavor that doesn't sit well with me. Will come back after some to re-review.

Great looking, cloudy, dark straw color. Aroma is strong on the lemon with a bit of grapefruit. Taste has the lemon but is dominated by a funky yeast flavor. It's tangy and somewhat grassy. Feel is pleasant and crisp but a bit thin for an IPA. Overall, a somewhat unusual but really drinkable beer. Middle Brow makes some pretty interesting beers.
