An English beer for the people. Notes of toffee, nuts and lavendar, a mild of sorts.

Because Middle Brow is so different even among the sometimes weird world of micros and because Public Beer is my 19th unique from Middle Brow, I probably analyze Middle Brow too much.
As my neighborhood's fermentorium, they also make pretty good pizza and interesting bread. Their beers perform best at the table; their saisons with pizza are a particularly good pairing. But, two somewhat unusual styles Middle Brow also does well. One is the Kvass, made from bread. The other is the English Mild; both Milds I've had I liked.
Middle Brow seems determined to do their thing. But, the one thing they should do is bring back Robyn !!!

Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Pours a deep sunset hickory topped by a finger of bone foam. The nose comprises dried caramel, mild greens, sweet flowers, and toasted biscuit. The taste brings in more of the same, everything existing in exquisite balance. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a smooth feel. A very nice little mild, something I could easily see downing several of whilst enjoying the atmosphere outside at sunset (so long as those damn neighborhood kids ain't about...).
