An extremely aggressive pour yields almost an inch of head into my tulip glass. The head is white, with mostly big bubbles. A little smoother in some areas, but mostly big bubbles, which were caused by the aggressive pour that was more than necessary to achieve at least a little head. The body is a dark, burnt orange in color. A fair amount of sediment, and low visible carbonation. Somewhat cloudy, with low visibility through the beer. Foam is lingering much longer than expected on top of the body, but still, a somewhat unimpressive head. The body is pretty, but far from perfect. We'll see how the lacing goes, so far the appearance is ok.
Nose is pretty sweet. Rich malts, perhaps a little bready. Almost more of an amber aroma than an IPA, or even an English IPA. On some sniffs this is too rich for me. On others, it chimes in with a nice bready, amber malt character. Bitterness takes a back seat in the nose, but is there. Not a citrusy or earthy IPA, maybe a hair piney, floral. Getting maybe even caramel on this malt profile. Overall it's not my kind of IPA aroma, too sweet, and not enough hop character. It's not bad, it has a complex malt profile, but for the style, and for my preference, it doesn't work too well.
Flavor is much the same. Bitterness hits harder on the flavor, but still very small for an IPA. Really a very light, and frankly watery flavor. A little grassy. I guess a "good" thing would be that the malt character and sweetness does not come through at all on the flavor, but the beer doesn't fill in that void with many hop flavors, or other characteristics. Malt hits a little harder upon further sips, but definitely not a sweet beer. Bready is the main descriptor that comes to mind. Grassy is the only hop character that I can think to use for this beer. It almost has a euro lager hop profile, very simple. Not quite as sharp as a euro lager hop profile. Bitterness lingers for a while. Overall, this is ok I guess? Nothing offensive, just an extremely light flavor, with very little going on. Maybe I'm being too critical, but I just don't feel the urge to drink this. Overall it's ok.
Mouthfeel is not good, watery, low carbonation.
The drinkability is very high, for 6.7% it goes down like a session IPA. It doesn't taste bad, so it's easy to drink.
This is a very odd beer. The nose and flavor were fairly different. Overall this isn't a bad flavor, it's just super bland, and under carbonated. So, idk, not a bad beer, but far from a good one.
The appearance turned out ok, better than I was expecting. The lacing was extremely patchy, but some is better than none. The head was small, but actually hung around. The body had sediment, but was a pretty color. Actually not a bad looking beer at all.
As this beer warmed, the flavor got a little bit bigger, but it was still watery, and off. I got a somewhat spicy hop character as the beer warmed. These things were nice, but not big enough improvements.

Pours a murky orange-brown with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy patches of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of candied citrus zest, floral, pine needle, and earthy hop aromas. Taste is much the same with candied citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and earthy hop flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and dry mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with a nice mix of candied citrus zest and earthy hop characteristics all around.

Looks solid. Slightly foggy, orange hue, off white head. Not a ton of head and not much retention. Some lacing. Smell was clean, fruity and hoppy. Tropical fruits are present throughout, pineapple and mangoes. Taste in line with smell but not quite to the level the smell might imply. Good but not at the level I was hoping for. Mouthfeel is clean and crisp. Average carbonation. Overall. Very solid IPA, worth getting your hands on.
