I am finally reviewing this Blonde Ale after 2 years. I first had it on draught at the brewery and this time I had it on draught in a restaurant. It pours an unusual golden-amber color with a minimal, milk-white head and lacing. The smell was rather subdued: malt, wheat, lemon, and floral hops. The taste opens with a base of wheat and citrus but there is also an interesting floral taste, and it finishes with a touch of pepper and bitterness. This ale is medium-bodied and mildly carbonated, crisp, and its 7.6% ABV gives it a pop. For a Blonde Ale it has a complex flavor and a lot of substance. It's a nicely crafted ale from a local brewer that seems to fly below the radar.
