DATE: June 18, 2021... OCCASION: feeling for Michael's tough Districts loss to Mt. Olive... GLASSWARE: HopDevil nonick... pours a hazy, orange amber body, full of bubbly agitation... its head is thick, white foam that staunchly sits atop the glass.... freshly mown hay, orange zest, lemon, punchy grapefruit, and mango peak through an undergirding of baked bread malts... aromatic and refreshing in that regard.... reasonably smooth and lively on the tongue, with some buzz at the teeth... its malt keeps it at the throat... thirst-quenching and agreeable, balanced and appreciable... the mango, apple and orange are prominent...next, the lemon and spicy pepper make this a beer worth savoring.... AE is doing a lot right, and this is another beer that could be an everyday sipper...

On draft 3/30/16 Pours hazy. Looks the same as grapefruit juice (Maybe an old barrel). Nice head and lacing. Light ctrus smell. Tastes citrusy throughout with a hint of pineapple. Mouthfeel is medium carbonated. Good beer. Might be great if it were a fresh keg?

This has to be my favorite brew from Angry Erik's to date. Just as the brewery describes it, this tasty ipa hits you up front with sweet melon flavor, just a little pineapple, and some citrus in the finish. The nose is a bit more subdued than the taste, but still fantastic. I really hope they continue to brew this one.

On-tap at Angry Erik Brewing, Lafayette, NJ
A: The beer is hazy yellow in color and has a moderate amount of carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head. The head has good retention properties and consistently left a short head covering the surface.
S: Light aromas of citrusy and tropical fruit hope are present in the nose.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste has some flavors of pineapples along with strong notes of citrusy hops and a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate wit a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA is easy to drink and has some interesting flavors of pineapples in the taste.
Serving type: on-tap
